What You'll Do:

• Evaluate patients' functions through assessments and testing, covering skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems
• Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and patient tolerance
• Document treatment regimes and update plans of care as needed, including co-signing verbal orders
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and home exercises
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Aides, and students, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Assist in recommending adaptive equipment and securing necessary support
• Maintain accurate documentation for billing and regulatory compliance
• Promote patient safety, quality of care, and continuous improvement efforts
• Participate in community outreach and education to enhance the facility's visibility and effectiveness

What You Need:

• Valid Michigan state license as a Physical Therapist
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows and healthcare documentation practices
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and standing/walking for long periods
