Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Tech - Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekend rotation is on-call only
• One weeknight on-call shift per week from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend of on-call per month, end of shift Friday through Monday at 7:00 AM
• 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
• May be on call for up to 50% of holidays per contract
• Average of 4 to 6 patients per tech per day
• Perform cardiac scans, stress rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, gastric scans, DAT scans, lung scans and perfusions (VQ scans), GI bleeds, and administration of I-131
• Handle radioactive isotopes and work with above scanning procedures
• Preferred experience with Pluvicto therapies for prostate cancer and Y90 mapping
• Float between clinic and main hospital area within the same building, spending approximately one month at a time in each area
• Work with EMR system EPIC and PACS system Change Healthcare
• Operate Spectrum Dynamics D-Spect chair in clinic and GE Discovery 850 in hospital
• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-N or NMTCB, and state license
• Scrubs must be any solid color, professional with no graphics, logos, or designs

Facility:

This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 101 beds. The nuclear medicine department operates two suites, one located within the hospital and one in the clinic, both housed within the same building. The department is supported by imaging assistants, transporters, patient service representatives, schedulers, a manager available on weekdays, a rapid response and code team, as well as cardiologist and radiologist support for reading results.
