Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with comprehensive LDRP experience to join our Women's Health team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care while providing exceptional patient-centered care throughout the childbirth continuum. Experience scrubbing for procedures is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to laboring mothers during all stages of labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and postpartum recovery.
• Care for postpartum mothers and newborn infants.
• Perform newborn assessments and routine nursery care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Support families through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.

• Active Washington State RN License OR Active Multistate Compact RN License.
• Verification of demographics through Nursys.
• Completion of Washington State Approved 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Training.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
• Recent experience in:
  • Labor & Delivery (L&D)
  • Postpartum Care
  • Nursery/Newborn Care

Preferred

• STABLE Certification.
• Scrub experience for obstetrical procedures.
• Experience with Meditech EMR.

• Requested time off (RTO) must be approved prior to assignment start and will be added to the end of the contract.
