Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience required License: South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - 4+ years of experience in the Operating Room - No first-timers accepted Description: Position/ Specialty: Operating Room Registered Nurse Schedule: 5x8-hour day shift from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM Weekend Requirement: Typically every fourth weekend with weekday coverage based on staffing needs On-call Requirement: Yes, weekday call from 3 PM to 7 AM when assigned per rotation Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs Travelers will be required to accommodate a block schedule upon approval. Only travelers with prior experience are accepted. Clinical experience is essential, specifically in surgical procedures such as abdominal hysterectomies, appendectomies, and total joint replacements. Candidates must have familiarity with charting systems. Facility Overview: Type of Facility: Acute Care Client Staff Count: 119 staffed beds Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics Emergency responsiveness may be required during hurricane season. Travelers should be aware of natural disaster preparedness responsibilities. All requirements and qualifications must be met to ensure timely placement. Candidates must be prepared to engage in comprehensive compliance processes.
