Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse for a short-term contract to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in clinical procedures and electronic health record systems to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor cardiac telemetry to detect and respond to arrhythmias and other cardiac events.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately within electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and medication management.
• Ensure clinical compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond swiftly to emergent situations, providing critical interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license required.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent Telemetry experience within the last year.
• Proficient with electronic health record systems, specifically Cerner and Epic.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12) with no planned time off during assignment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
