Job Title: Medical Assistant (Local)
Location: Greenfield, IN
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $24/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front-office and back-office operations, including patient intake, scheduling, phlebotomy, vital signs, and clinical support.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, in addition to externship experience.
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR experience required.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Interest in health education and outreach.

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients.
Schedule appointments and answer phones.
Obtain and record patient vital signs.
Perform blood draws and phlebotomy.
Administer vaccines as directed.
Perform EKG and Point-of-Care (POC) testing.
Provide additional clinical support as needed.
Support both front-office and back-office operations.
Maintain a collaborative relationship with center staff.
