Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,461 per week

Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The start date is 07/06/2026. The role is 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, and is a travel assignment. Essential Work Functions Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and address questions. Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning, report malfunctions, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications according to protocols and safety standards. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as necessary to ensure their safety. Operate medical imaging equipment to create images per physician orders. Document procedure details in patient records to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations. Follow hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Nuclear Medicine Technologist practice. Required Qualifications One year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical Abilities – Must remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal Skills – Must work effectively with a variety of personnel, presenting a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/Motor Skills – Capable of fine manipulation, push/pull, and mobility for procedures and equipment. Mental Requirements – Ability to cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, and maintain concentration on detail.
