Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a high-volume unit performing 250–300 deliveries per month
• Support and manage patients across labor rooms, operating rooms, PACU beds, antepartum rooms, and OB triage rooms
• Care for high-risk obstetric patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions
• Accurately document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia or a valid compact license with proof provided at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with specialty experience within the last year
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• SSN required at time of submittal
• One supervisory reference required at submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients
• Familiarity with NIH stroke education requirements applicable to acute care RN roles
• Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
