Systems Engineer Lead/Experienced

Salary: $112,200 - 185,150 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• We require 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• We require 3+ years of systems engineering experience involving system architecture development, including requirements definition, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, and verification.
• We require strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment.
• For preferred consideration at Level 4, we look for 7+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• We prefer experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or similar SysML-compatible tools for architecture and model development.
• We prefer experience across technical disciplines and lifecycle phases.
• We prefer familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) build pipelines and software factory practices such as DevOps and DevSecOps.
• We prefer experience with tools and techniques such as Jira, GitLab, Ansible, and Artifactory.
• We require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship, and an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance after start.
• We require compliance with U.S. export control requirements, including U.S. Person status as defined by applicable regulations.

• We lead cross-functional engineering teams to deliver systems that meet program commitments, including delivery support and customer reviews.
• We apply our systems engineering experience to implement, sustain, and improve the systems engineering approach for software development.
• We conduct software data item reviews, administer JIRA, support sprint planning, and help integrate the overall software development effort.
• We support planning and execution of software configuration and data management processes.
• We help implement MBSE as part of digital engineering to meet customer expectations.
• We use interdisciplinary, collaborative methods to plan, design, develop, and verify complex systems solutions.
• We work in a collaborative environment on-site and across engineering disciplines.
• We may travel up to 10% of the time, domestically and/or internationally, depending on business needs.
