Job Details Setting: Intensive Care Unit / Critical Care Unit Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 8/31/2026 Shift: 12-hour day shifts Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 Unit Size: 16 beds Patient Ratio: 2:1, with occasional 3:1 assignments Documentation System: Meditech Floating: Rotation with core staffing Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification PALS preferred Strong critical thinking skills and a self-motivated approach to patient care Comfort working in a fast-paced critical care environment with high-acuity patients Experience with complex monitoring and critical care technology preferred Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU Monitor and assess patients requiring advanced cardiac and hemodynamic support Assist with procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions Care for patients using equipment such as Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Arctic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring systems Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses to support positive patient outcomes Document care accurately in the Meditech charting system Adapt to changing patient needs while maintaining professionalism and teamwork Support a patient-centered culture focused on quality, consistency, and compassionate care Apply now for this ICU Registered Nurse travel assignment in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and take the next step in your critical care nursing career.
