Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough intakes and mental health assessments to understand each client's unique situation and needs.

  • Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients that address their mental health issues, fostering resilience and recovery.

  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing clients with effective tools and strategies to manage their mental health, including coping mechanisms for anxiety, depression, and substance use issues.

  • Engage clients in both individual and group therapy settings, utilizing culturally responsive approaches to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

  • Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, seamlessly integrating feedback from clients into their care process.

  • Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or further treatment is needed to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing challenges such as substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. By employing a culturally competent approach, you will engage in meaningful conversations and create a safe space for clients to explore their concerns, helping them understand and overcome barriers to their mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

  • Must possess a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is essential.
  • \n
  • A minimum of four years of experience working in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and the ability to adapt and respond calmly to clients in distress.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy through an inclusive and culturally sensitive lens.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes:
