Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver rapid, compassionate care in a high-volume ER handling up to 317 patients daily
• Manage diverse cases from trauma and strokes to peds and STEMIs with skill and confidence
• Collaborate with MDs, mid-levels, RTs, and techs to stabilize and treat critically ill patients
• Interpret tele strips accurately while supporting a dynamic team environment
• Float to nearby Arroyo Grande ER when needed to broaden your impact

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• TNCC preferred for those extra trauma-ready skills
• Travel experience a plus for seamless adaptation

Education

• RN licensure required, BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Cerner EMR for efficient documentation
• Expertise in managing vents, trauma bays, and psych patients
• Strong assessment skills for fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Comfortable with 1:4 ratios and occasional ICU-level 1:1 or 1:2 care
