Dental Hygienist – Full Time (Mon–Thurs) | Gilder Creek Dental Care | Simpsonville, SC

Gilder Creek Dental Care in Simpsonville, SC is searching for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative and positive team! We welcome new graduates and are happy to provide training in our systems, technology, and professional development. Part-time candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday | 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM No evenings or weekends!

Experience with Dentrix and iTero scanning is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train!

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care focused on education, prevention, and building strong patient relationships
• Perform periodontal assessments, prophylaxis, SRP, and other hygiene procedures according to state guidelines
• Take digital radiographs and assist in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Utilize practice technology (Dentrix, iTero scanner) to support patient care and treatment planning
• Partner closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure a seamless, patient-centered experience
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized operatory and sterilization area
• Promote a positive, motivating, and professional environment for patients and teammates

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Dental Hygiene License (or in process for new grads)
• Local Anesthesia certification per state requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Interest in continuous learning and professional development
• Experience with Dentrix or iTero a plus, but not required

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
