Customer Service Associate I

Overview Dollar Tree Stores is hiring a Customer Service Associate I . We’re seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities Assist customers with questions and recommendations Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register Maintain security of cash and protect company assets Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred) Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting Excellent customer service and relationship management skills Strong organizational and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Perks & Benefits We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and well-being.
