Laundry Aide Full-Time and Part-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Aide to join our team at St. Petersburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living environments. Responsibilities:

• Launder and fold patient linens, towels, and clothing in a timely and efficient manner

• Ensure all patient laundry items are properly labeled and returned to the correct resident

• Maintain a clean and organized laundry facility, including the washing and drying machines, and storage areas

• Sort and prioritize laundry tasks to meet departmental deadlines

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources

• Follow all infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience in laundry or related field

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as necessary

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy

Work Environment:

• Work in a clean and organized laundry facility

• Collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced healthcare environment
