Job Overview A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney in Houston, TX. The role involves advising corporate and individual clients on U.S. immigration law, preparing and filing visa petitions, and developing case strategies for employment-based immigration matters. Duties Advise clients on U.S. immigration law and regulations. Prepare and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Develop case strategies and perform eligibility analyses. Draft legal briefs and responses to government requests. Monitor case status and advise on compliance and risk mitigation. Communicate with government agencies and maintain case files. Requirements J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school. Valid license to practice law in any U.S. state or D.C. 24 months' experience as a Business Immigration Attorney. Knowledge of U.S. immigration principles and terminologies. Excellent writing and communication skills. Education J.D. from an accredited law school in the United States. Certifications Valid license to practice law from any U.S. state or the District of Columbia. Skills Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities. Proficient in legal research and writing.
