Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00); Day 5x8-Hour (12:00 - 21:00) Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: Experience in 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Fine Needle Aspiration, Needle Localizations, Screening Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Inpatient, Outpatient Description: This position requires a Mammography Technologist to perform screening mammography exams only. Technologists are expected to complete two exams per hour. The schedule includes weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 5 PM. The weekday shift on Fridays is from 12 PM to 9 PM. All other weekday shifts are from 8 AM to 5 PM or 5:30 PM. The bi-weekly schedule alternates between working Mondays and Fridays in one week and Tuesdays and Fridays in the following week. Flexibility is possible for weekday shifts, but weekend shifts are firm. Candidates will be required to work three of the five major holidays throughout the contract. References covering the last three years are required prior to start. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in contract termination. Providers will be supplied with necessary communication devices. Providers are responsible for submitting their monthly cell phone bill if applicable. Modules are non-billable and must be completed during orientation.
