Our partner is looking for a Part Time Weekend Product Demonstrator in Costco in Santa Maria, CA . This role focuses on driving sales through customer engagement, live product demonstrations, and sampling events in a retail environment. The position also includes supporting store operations and working during peak shopping periods, particularly weekends.
Responsibilities- Conduct live product demonstrations and sampling for customers.
- Engage customers to provide product information and encourage purchases.
- Support sales efforts by promoting featured products.
- Assist management with additional tasks as needed.
- Prepare and cook sample items.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures in a retail environment.
- Work scheduled shifts, primarily on weekends (Friday through Sunday).
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Availability to work 2 or more shifts per weekend (Friday–Sunday).
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 weekends per month.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 6 hours.
- Ability to prepare, cook, and clean work areas and equipment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Customer service and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to follow safety procedures in a retail setting.
