The Allure Group is looking for a Unit Clerk to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. The Unit Clerk performs a variety of duties related to reception of patients/visitors, communication with the unit and medical staff and other departments. General clerical and medical record responsibility required.

Duties Include:

• Scanning in resident documents
• Updates room changes in our current electronic medical record program.
• Creating admission and readmission packets
• Updating room change information
• Updating resident discharge information
• Assisting DON with projects as needed
• Scheduling Dentist visits
• Scheduling Podiatrist visits
• Scheduling Optometrist visits through Sight Rite
• Answering phones
• Faxing and accepting faxes from the Labs and all other contacts
• Picking up and distributing mail from Unit
• Collecting documents for scanning

Requirements:

• HS diploma required.
• Medical terminology and basic data entry skills preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
