Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional business initiatives from planning through execution. This individual must be a strong, independent project leader who knows how to drive progress, remove obstacles, and deliver measurable outcomes without getting bogged down in unnecessary processes or administrative activities.

The ideal candidate brings exceptional foundational project management skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping teams aligned and accountable. This is a senior-level functional Project Manager role requiring someone who can see the big picture, understand business priorities, and translate objectives into actionable plans.

We are looking for a pragmatic, execution-oriented PM who prioritizes results over process, knows when to escalate, and can confidently drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and expected outcomes.
• Take full ownership of project execution, driving accountability, maintaining momentum, and ensuring commitments are met.
• Develop practical, actionable project plans that clearly define milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and ownership.
• Partner with business leaders, functional teams, and stakeholders to establish priorities, resolve challenges, and drive decisions.
• Proactively identify roadblocks, manage competing priorities, and implement solutions to keep initiatives moving forward.
• Apply project management methodologies and governance appropriately without introducing unnecessary complexity or bureaucracy.
• Navigate ambiguity and changing business priorities while maintaining focus on critical deliverables.
• Facilitate productive meetings that drive decisions, accountability, and measurable progress rather than simply reporting status.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing concise, meaningful updates focused on progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
• Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend practical solutions when existing approaches are not delivering results.
• Ensure successful implementation, stakeholder adoption, and achievement of defined business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive project management experience, including significant experience leading complex, cross-functional business or functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated success independently managing projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving requirements.
• Strong functional/business project management background with the ability to understand business operations, workflows, and organizational objectives.
• Proven ability to drive execution and deliver tangible results rather than focusing exclusively on project documentation, reporting, or methodology.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and hold teams accountable without direct authority.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Experience operating in ambiguous or fast-changing environments with limited direction.
• Ability to balance structure and flexibility, applying the right level of project management rigor based on project complexity and business needs.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate priorities, risks, trade-offs, and recommended actions.

• A process-heavy PM focused primarily on methodology, templates, and administrative reporting.
• A project coordinator who relies on others to drive decisions and execution.
• A PMO governance specialist whose primary focus is compliance, documentation, or process enforcement.
• A purely technical Project Manager focused on engineering delivery rather than functional and business outcomes.
