POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee all aspects of the software controls project from early execution through completion and handover to the customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and deploy PLC and HMI control software, using Rockwell GuardLogix as the primary platform and Mitsubishi or Siemens when required, and drawing on standardized code libraries where appropriate.

- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and FANUC America personnel, along with internal Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Robot Path Programmers (Process), and Installation Engineers, to design and execute controls solutions.

- Champion safe work practices for all onsite personnel and maintain a safety-first culture when working around robots and automated equipment.

- Partner with the Project Manager to maintain and update project schedules.

- Uphold high quality standards that meet or exceed industry requirements, delivering on every commitment with integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, or Automation preferred.

- Experience: 10+ years in a similar role; experience with system integrators preferred.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in VisualBasic.Net. Competency with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi systems.

- Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering effective solutions.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally with customers and teams.

- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, with domestic and international travel requirements.
