Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of operating room experience License: Current and valid nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: EKG/Dysrhythmia competency Description: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID is required. A utility bill in the nurse's name with a matching address within the last three months is required. Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility. Candidates should have foundational knowledge and practical skills related to cardiac monitoring. They will need to meet the scoring requirements for the EKG/Dysrhythmia competency assigned during the compliance process if offered. First-time travelers are accepted. All candidates must be willing to float to other areas if necessary. There is a requirement for on-call availability. No candidates with license violations will be accepted. Each submission must include two supervisory references. Any gaps in the traveler's profile of three months or more require an explanation in the work history. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of separation from previous employment to be eligible. No block scheduling requests will be accepted.
