Float Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist in Columbus, Ohio to perform blood collections across multiple locations Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with Saturday rotation. The role involves venipuncture, specimen processing, patient documentation, and billing coordination while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for various age groups
- Process specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other diagnostic testing
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen/patient logs
- Handle billing information, collect payments, and prepare specimens for analysis
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3+ months experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test and background check
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel between multiple clinic sites
