About The Chase Home Founded in 1877, The Chase Home provides support, stability, and guidance to at-risk youth and their families in New Hampshire. Through residential and community-based services, we create opportunities for healing, growth, and lifelong success. We are seeking a full-time Development Associate to join our dedicated team and help elevate our fundraising, communications, and community engagement efforts. Position Summary The Development Associate will play a key role in supporting The Chase Home's fundraising, stewardship, communications, volunteer and community engagement, and event planning efforts. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and digital skills, as well as a collaborative self-starter attitude and a passion for nonprofit work. Key Responsibilities Donor Engagement & Stewardship Utilize Little Green Light (LGL) donor database to track revenue, generate lists and reports, and manage donor acknowledgements. Write and distribute personalized thank-you letters to donors and major donors. Manage donor portfolios and segmented outreach in coordination with fundraising goals. Marketing and Communications Develop event and campaign marketing materials using Canva. Manage and post across social media platforms using Meta tools; maintain a content calendar. Record and edit voiceovers and B-roll footage featuring residents, staff, and awardees for storytelling and promotional purposes. Assist in creating and distributing newsletters, email blasts, and press releases to promote campaigns, events, and other initiatives. Events & Volunteer Coordination Coordinate and support planning for signature events, such as our annual Gala, and other fundraising initiatives. Manage logistics for volunteer service days involving local community groups and corporate partners. Assist in developing event materials and overseeing production timelines. Work with Development and Program leadership on supporting community engagement initiatives with business partners, service providers, and local community activities for resident programming, care and incentives. Oversee development and direct care volunteer hours and record in Little Green Light. General Development Support Provide support to senior leadership and Board of Directors on various development initiatives and materials as needed. Collaborate with the Development Director to prepare reports, agendas, and presentations for the Board and committees. Attend and support Development Committee meetings; take minutes and prepare materials as needed. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit development, grant writing, communications, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with donor databases (Little Green Light preferred. Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing tools (especially Meta Business Suite). Proficiency in Canva; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently. Passion for youth‑focused nonprofit work and community building. Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and lift up to 25 lbs. Hours: 40 hours per week Starting Salary: $50,000-$55,000/year, commensurate with experience, $1,000 sign‑on bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr
