About The Position Senior Analyst, Research & Insights – Lead research strategy for the Beauty, Style, & Entertainment verticals across People Inc.’s portfolio (People, Entertainment Weekly, Instyle, Byrdie, etc.). Work hybrid: 3 days in office in New York, 2 days remote. Responsibilities Become an expert on Beauty, Style, and Entertainment audiences, using first‑party data to understand sites and users. Uncover insights and craft compelling stories to support advertising partnerships, RFPs, and ad‑hoc requests. Advising Marketing, Editorial, and Sales teams on brand management, audience expansion, and sales initiatives. Consult on the design of in‑house quantitative consumer research studies for clients and partners. Analyze large data sets, synthesize information, and deliver key insights in presentations to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Provide data visualization and storytelling to inform content, media, and advertising strategies. Qualifications College degree required. 3–5 years of research and analytics experience in digital/media, preferably in beauty, style, or entertainment. Proficient with large data sets, Excel, and analytic tools (Google Analytics, comScore, Google Trends). Familiarity with Looker and New Age, Telmar, MEMRI, or IMS is a plus. Experience with syndicated research sources such as MRI‑SIMMONS, MRI/Comscore Fusion, IPSOS Affluent. Excellent research synthesis, communication, and data storytelling skills. Strong problem‑solving ability and inquisitive nature. Desire to deepen understanding of beauty, style, and entertainment sectors. Travel: none required.
