You will work closely with analysts, business partners, and data engineering teams to transform raw data into trusted, reusable, AI-ready analytics assets. Your work will directly shape how users and AI-enabled tools discover, understand, and use data across the enterprise. Working in an Agile environment, you will partner with internal teams and external solution providers to accelerate progress toward KES objectives.What You Will DoCollaborate closely with analysts and business stakeholders to understand data gaps, define metrics, and design robust, scalable analytics solutions. This includes proposing alternative solutions, with their pros and cons to help guide the workstream forward. Design and build dimensional models that are clean, performant, and easy to useDevelop and optimize SQL transformations to convert data into business friendly and reusable dimensional model objectsCreate and maintain semantic models that enable clear and efficient self-service analyticsDevelop enterprise Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, and consistent business definitionsImplement and follow professional development practices: Git based version control, branching/PR workflows, testing/validation, CI/CD, etc.Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and other analytics engineers to align on standards for naming, documentation, data quality, and model governanceSupport adoption by documenting models and metrics, enabling stakeholder training, and improving discoverabilityTroubleshoot data issues with data models and reports and continuously improve reliability and performanceWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Demonstrated ability to use SQL skills for data transformationDemonstrated experience building dimensional data models for BI applicationsHands‑on experience with Power BI semantic model and report developmentExperience with Power Query (M) and understanding of when/how to use it effectivelyExperience using Git in a team environment (branches, PRs, code reviews)What Will Put You AheadDeep knowledge of dimensional modeling best practices and optimization techniquesExperience with dbt (models, tests, documentation, macros, exposures)Experience collaborating with a Finance team or in the Financial Services industryExperience using Snowflake for data transformation for developing SQL‑based pipelines and reusable model layersExperience designing reusable semantic standards for enterprise reportingExperience enabling AI‑capable models through strong metadata, consistent definitions, curated semantic layers, and documentationAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
