Ultrasound Technologist Contract Opportunity

This contract opportunity offers experienced Ultrasound Technologists the chance to contribute across both a main hospital and an outpatient advanced imaging center, delivering exceptional diagnostic care as part of a collaborative team.

Schedule & Location Details:

• Overnight shifts: 7:00 PM7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts as needed (no fixed rotation)
• Float between main hospital and outpatient imaging center as required
• Holiday coverage: expect to work 75% of major holidays
• Contract cycle: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on ultrasound experience, including vascular imaging
• ARDMS certification (no specific anatomy required) or ARRT registration
• Current BLS certification
• Familiarity with Siemens Sequoia and P2000 ultrasound equipment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and multitask in a high-volume healthcare setting
• Previous travel assignment experience required; not open to first-time travelers
• Must provide photo ID for compliance
• Strong interpersonal skills and a supportive, team-oriented approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive general and vascular ultrasound procedures for a diverse patient population, including those experiencing cancer, stroke, respiratory illnesses, and cardiac events
• Accurately document findings and work within EPIC EMR system
• Deliver high-quality imaging care during overnight shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Float between hospital and outpatient clinic locations based on departmental needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and potentially support radiology students
• Follow departmental protocols and contribute to a positive work environment
