Join our dynamic Package Delivery team at Lovett Logistics (a highly regarded and performing Amazon DSP in the region) through the Amazon DSP Walker Program! As a delivery associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of packages to customers’ doorsteps. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your delivery and organizational skills and customer service talents make a real difference. Job Description
Responsibilities
- Safely navigate walking paths, businesses and residences to complete daily routes efficiently
- Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques
- Follow designated routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Handle heavy lifting safely during package loading/unloading processes, practicing proper manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required by company policies
Qualifications
Experience
- Previous experience in delivery driving or courier roles preferred, especially with warehouse operations or commercial driving backgrounds
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and heavy lifting practices
- Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and safe lifting practices in the workplace
- Experience with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery updates is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and reliability
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly while maintaining safe lifting practices
