The Staff Accountant supports core accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing, within a publicly traded environment. This role ensures accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX, contributes to the month-end close process, and partners cross-functionally to resolve financial matters. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach. What You’ll do Support accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, Billing) for a publicly traded company, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial functions. Prepare GL journal entries and account reconciliations in support of the month-end close process. Review customer credit terms, assist with collection of overdue customer receivables and record AR transactions. Setup vendors and review and confirm accuracy of procurement and expense reporting transactions within the Concur Accounts Payable and Expense Management platform. Communicate with other departments on accounting and financial matters. Correspond with customers and vendors, as needed, to resolve issues. Miscellaneous clerical and other functions, as assigned.
