Director, Manufacturing Engineering Responsibilities: Design and enhance manufacturing procedures, layouts, and work instructions through active engagement in technical tasks. Develop and mentor manufacturing engineers and technicians in process improvement and problem-solving techniques. Manage the manufacturing engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and workload distribution. Collaborate with product design teams throughout the development process to ensure manufacturability and efficient transition to production. Director, Manufacturing Engineering Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 8 years' experience in process engineering with hands-on process improvement involvement. Proficiency in SolidWorks for process documentation and line layout design. Strong knowledge of process control tools such as PFMEA, control plans, and SPC.
