About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Experience: 1 year in Emergency Department or 2 years in Level 2 Trauma facility License: Current RN License in the state Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; TNCC; NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: 1 year Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma facility Description: This position involves providing direct patient care for all age groups. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care activities. It is crucial to monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. The role requires maintaining professional accountability for patient care. Applicants should possess demonstrated skill in human relations and communications. Clinical expertise in emergency nursing is essential. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time on duty. The position may require lifting and pushing patients in stretchers and wheelchairs. Work conditions typically involve a clean, air-conditioned environment. Due to the nature of the facility, staff will encounter high acuity patient cases repeatedly. Attention to patient rights and confidentiality is mandatory.
