Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expert knowledge in hemodynamic monitoring and advanced life support.

Responsibilities:

Administer and monitor critical care treatments, including ventilator management and hemodynamic support.
Perform advanced procedures such as central line placement, intubation, and thoracentesis.
Monitor patient status using equipment like Swan-Ganz catheters, ventilators, and CRRT machines.
Document patient progress and interventions accurately in Meditech EMR.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans and respond to urgent patient needs.
Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and unit protocols.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
At least 2 years of ICU experience in a critical care setting.
Knowledge of pressure drip management and critical care procedures.
Strong clinical skills in Trach, TPN/PPN, and chest tube management.
Positive attitude and proactive approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle high-pressure situations.
