Painter - 3rd Shift

Paint CoordinatorAs a Paint Coordinator at Wabash, you will be responsible for directing the activities of a team of painters. You will also be expected to perform a variety of painting applications and related activities, requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment, and safety precautions. You will be expected to adhere to the general safety plan and perform other duties, including undercoating, as requested by your supervisor. This role typically requires exercising some independent judgment and performing work at a quality level consistent with Wabash's standard practices.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinating the activities of other painters.Performing a variety of painting applications and painting-related activities requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment, and safety precautions.Adhering to the general safety plan.May be required to do other duties, including undercoating, as requested by the supervisor.Primary job functions typically require exercising some independent judgment.Performs work at a quality level consistent with Wabash National standard practice.Supervised by supervisor, general foreman, manager or department head.Routinely perform workplace organization daily and as needed to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.Tools & EquipmentBelow is a list of examples of the potential tools and equipment you may find yourself working with depending upon your department and location. The employee needs full range of motion in their arms and hands in this position. All Assembler Coordinator's must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. Some Assembler Coordinators also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
