DMG is actively recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to work in the Valleywise Health Arizona Burn Center in Phoenix, the only nationally verified burn center in Arizona. In this academic setting you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical, and behavioral health professionals treating thousands of patients each year and providing the highest level of patient care from initial treatment through rehabilitation. Opportunities for participation in research are available, and faculty appointments are possible at Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Phoenix. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient counseling to patients admitted to the Burn Center and their families Participate in daily rounds with the care team Coordinate acute, short-term, and long-term care plans with the care team Conduct cognitive assessments as clinically necessary Qualifications Doctoral degree in clinical psychology and expertise in health psychology Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona Experience providing psychological care in a medical setting, preferably with post-traumatic and pain conditions Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers Ability to assess and treat individuals of all ages Willingness to participate in the education of learners across medical, nursing, and allied health disciplines Benefits Comprehensive healthcare package inclusive of medical, dental, vision – eligible DAY ONE Rich 401(k) with employer match, increasing annually up to 6% Four weeks PTO + 10 paid holidays One week CME allowance Paid sick time For consideration, please forward CV by e‑mail: View email address on click.appcast.io EOE. #J-18808-Ljbffr Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics
