Job Details Location: Mount Pleasant, TX 75455 Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Start Date: 08/17/2026 Setting: Labor & Delivery / Perinatal Services Employment Type: Full-time Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a compact state Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred BLS certification from AHA required Current AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification required NRP certification required ACLS certification required from AHA Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience in a perinatal setting, residency training, or recent bedside practice preferred Responsibilities Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care for obstetric patients 20 weeks gestation Support labor management, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean deliveries Assist with OB emergency response and triage evaluations Care for postpartum surgical patients, including tubal ligations Perform assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation using the nursing process Administer medications and treatments per protocol while monitoring response and effectiveness Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans, learning needs, and available resources Collaborate with the care team and demonstrate strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery setting Apply now for this Travel Labor & Delivery RN opportunity in Mount Pleasant, TX and join a team dedicated to exceptional maternal and newborn care.
