Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing therapy services in a school setting preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Working knowledge of IEPs, documentation, and goal-setting
• Compassionate, adaptable, and proactive in identifying and addressing student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students with varied needs
• Assess students’ functional abilities and participate in the development of IEPs
• Collaborate closely with school teams, educators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance
• Adapt interventions and therapy approaches to suit each student’s unique learning profile
• Contribute to team meetings and provide recommendations to enhance educational participation
