What you’ll bring:

• Active and valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (required)
• Experience in special education, ideally working with mild/moderate caseloads
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, student-focused approach
• Ability to develop and adapt individualized learning strategies
• Commitment to cultivating a nurturing, positive environment

Your role:

• Tutor a 9th-grade male student in two in-home settings for a total of 5 hours weekly
• Design engaging, relevant lessons that meet IEP goals and foster academic success
• Employ adaptive strategies for differentiated instruction
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all compliance protocols
• Collaborate with families and support teams to monitor progress and address learning needs
• Remain flexible in scheduling to best meet the needs of both students and families
