Licensed Practical Nurse

Thomasville, GA | $27.00 - $28.00 / Hour

We are looking for a licensed practical nurse to provide specialized and attentive care for a variety of clients at a personal care facility in Thomasville. You will be responsible for working in a timely manner, upholding the facility’s expectations for cleanliness, and interacting with each client in a respectful and polite manner.

Responsibilities

• Following doctor’s orders and treatment planes
• Collaborating with other medical professionals
• Administering medications and monitoring responses to medication
• Conducting screenings, evaluations, and monitoring patients
• Educating patients and family members
• Communicating with other care team members
• Documenting all treatments, medications, and other patient care aspects in medical records
• Responding to emergency psychiatric situations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• LPN License
• Previous work experience preferred
• Work well in a fast paced environment
• Have strong communication skills
• A clean background check
• Be able to perform all of the duties listed above
• A clean drug screen
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Have personable customer service skills
• Be self-motivated and stay on task with minimal supervision
• Be able to work at least one weekend a month

Location: Thomasville, Georgia

Pay rate: $27.00 - $28.00 / Hour

Schedule: Full time, Days vary, 7:45 pm – 8:15 am, Rotating on-call weekends
