About the Opportunity Join our team as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. This role is PRN, day shifts as needed, located in Avondale, AZ. As a PT Assistant you’ll work under a licensed Physical Therapist, provide direct therapy interventions, support patient recovery, and collaborate with the care team to deliver patient-centered care. The Role Key responsibilities include providing direct physical therapy interventions, assisting with treatment planning, documenting patient progress, and maintaining a safe therapy environment following established protocols. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current State licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification. One year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, lift, push, and pull for prolonged periods. Lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to bodily fluids possible. Visual acuity and acute hearing required.
