Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process, within established standards and practices for assigned patients. Responsibilities include direct patient care, evaluation of outcomes, consultation with specialists, and adjustment of nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care.

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 5 years preferred.
• Travel experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cardiac monitoring/intervention, sedation, pain management, chest tube care/insertion, medication administration, pre and post-cardiac cath care, TPN/PPN, KODA, access to central lines, COBRA, specialized IV drips and titration, IV therapy, IVADD, waive testing, transfusion therapy, and information management.
• Ability to supervise other healthcare staff and allocate/monitor their work.
• Proficiency in assisting physicians with procedures and maintaining patient care equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to function under stressful situations.
• Commitment to professional growth and development through educational programs and workshops.

Additional Information:

• Adherence to medical center policies addressing infection control, safety, and personnel guidelines.
• Flexibility to perform housekeeping duties and assist with patient transportation as needed.
• Ability to serve as a team leader and role model for other staff members.
