Used Car Technician
Fette Ford is seeking a skilled Used Car Technician to join our team in Clifton, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and reconditioning used vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles.
- Complete repairs and reconditioning as needed to prepare used cars for sale.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with the used car sales team.
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assist in managing inventory and parts needed for repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician or similar role in an automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are a plus.
