Asphalt Raker - Auburn

Job Description Wanted: Experienced Asphalt Raker with a background in asphalt paving and pavement maintenance. Must be a hard-working, reliable individual who understands asphalt operations and can support the crew to deliver clean, consistent results. You must already know how to work around a paving crew, handle asphalt tools, and maintain production pace. We are not looking to train from zero. If you have experience in asphalt and can keep up with a production crew, we have steady work available. Job Responsibilities Operations Perform asphalt raking, luting, and shoveling during paving operations Assist with asphalt placement, spreading, and finishing Work alongside paver operators and roller operators to ensure smooth, even surfaces Maintain proper grade, slope, and transitions Support crew with general labor duties as needed Keep pace with production and maintain efficiency Follow directions from Foreman and crew leads Assist with jobsite setup and cleanup Handle asphalt tools and equipment properly Safety Follow jobsite safety requirements Maintain awareness around heavy equipment and live paving operations Keep work area clean and organized Job Requirements Minimum 1–3 years of asphalt paving experience preferred Experience as: Asphalt Raker Asphalt Laborer Paving Crew Member Must have valid driver’s license Strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment Ability to follow direction and work as part of a crew Must be able to work extended hours and weekends when required Pay $33.00 – $37.5.00 per hour (depending on experience) Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401K Paid time off Schedule Monday to Friday Weekend availability Extended hours as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
