Job Details:

• Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapist license; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); relevant education or degree in respiratory therapy; no minimum years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a similar clinical setting is desirable.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will evaluate patients, conduct physician-prescribed treatments using ventilatory equipment, perform pulmonary function tests, assist with procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses. The role also involves performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS and ACLS) and ensuring all equipment is operational and properly maintained. Effective communication with physicians and team members during rounds and shift changes is essential.
