Workday Analyst - PATT + Benefits

Location: Remote, but candidate must work Pacific time zone hours regardless of location

Candidates must work on Apex's W2 without sponsorship for the duration of the contract.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Workday Analyst. This role focuses on functional support within the Workday ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Workday modules including Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking, and will be responsible for managing project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Required Qualifications

Functional Experience:

• Payroll: Configuration and support of payroll processing, pay calculations, and compliance.
• Absence Management: Leave plan setup, accrual policies, and absence tracking.
• Time Tracking: Time entry configuration, approvals, and integration with payroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project timelines, milestones, and dependency maps.
• Develop and manage RACI matrices to clarify ownership across stakeholders.
• Facilitate status meetings, track action items, and keep workstreams on schedule.
• Maintain project artifacts including charters, decision logs, and meeting notes.
• Proactively surface risks, blockers, and scope changes to leadership.
