Exciting Opportunity for RN: NICU at Harris Regional Hospital Job Description: - Join our dynamic team in the Special Care Nursery/NICU at a prestigious 86-bed acute care facility located in the charming Sylva, NC. - Shift: 7P-7A with rotating weekend hours. - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36. Unit Profile: - Number of Beds: 4, with the ability to surge to 6. - Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity. - Equipment: EHR system—PARAGON. - Supervisor: Savannah Baylon, Director & Emily Ray, Manager. Ideal Candidate: - Must Have Skills/Experience: - Experience in Level 3 NICU or Level 2 Special Care Nursery. - Preferred Skillset/Experience: - Experience in Mother-Baby and catching babies in delivery. Common Diagnoses/Treatments: - TTN (Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn) - Preterm - NAS (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome) - Feeding Issues Personality Fit: - Flexible and adaptable - Team-oriented Education Requirement: - Minimum of an Associates Degree.
