Surgical Technologists at CentraCare are critical to successful surgeries! Your hands are often closer to the surgeons than anyone else’s. Our Surg Techs are there to prepare for a patient’s arrival and stay in the operating room to ensure their best possible outcome. You’ll prepare operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures, inventory surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety, and suit up with surgeons to help them save and improve patients’ lives.Schedule: Part-Time 56 hours every two weeks Monday through Friday day shifts with rotating holidays Off-premise call requiring a 30-minute response time during weeknights weekends and holidays.Pay and Benefits: Surgical Technologists starting pay begins at 29.34 per hour, exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: 29.34 - 44.31 per hour 1500 hiring bonus Surgical Technologists in Monticello! Associate Degree from a surgical first assistant program.Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification as a Surgical Technologist required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Previous Surgical technician experience preferred. Must possess demonstrated communication skills, be team-minded, able to read and communicate effectively in English, strong written and verbal skills, and possess strong interpersonal human relations skills. Ability to read and communicate effectively. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organizational problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work in a team environment and/or work independently as needed. Respond onsite within 30 minutes when on call. Basic computer knowledge required.To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position.
