About the Position

Job Title

Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab / Acute Rehab

Location

Pahala, HI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned inpatient and outpatient patients within Rehab and Acute Rehab settings
• Plan and implement ongoing occupational therapy treatment programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs for each patient
• Independently manage a full caseload, including determining when re-evaluations are required based on insurance authorization
• Utilize EMR systems including Net Health Therapy and Meditech to document patient care
• Work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on facility operational needs

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii Occupational Therapist license required by assignment start date
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Outpatient and Acute care settings working with adult populations
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross
• Proficiency with EMR platforms, specifically Net Health Therapy and Meditech
• Ability to work holidays as required by facility operations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience in similar inpatient or acute rehab environments
• Familiarity with insurance authorization processes and re-evaluation criteria
