Job Details: Type: Regular Time: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) FLSA Status: Exempt Role Overview: Reporting to the Operations Manager of the Simulation and Skills Center (SASC), the Simulation Technician works closely with faculty and learners to provide medical education experiences, run certification courses, and support research programs using simulation. Primary Responsibilities: Provide education and training in clinical decompensation, procedural skills, and teamwork using simulation resources. Assist faculty in developing educational programs and contribute to curriculum development, debriefing, and assessments. Operate and support simulation equipment, monitor safety and functionality. Program patient care simulators, prepare scenario props, and create moulage. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot simulation media and computer equipment. Maintain simulation spaces and perform equipment maintenance and repairs. Become an FLS and FES proctor within 6 months. Ensure compliance with policies and keep records of attendance, surveys, and inventory. Qualifications: Associate’s degree or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred. Licensed healthcare professional preferred (e.g., RN, NP, PA, Paramedic, EMT). 3-5 years of clinical experience required. Experience with healthcare simulation preferred. Strong technical computer skills. Skills & Competencies: Decision making, problem solving, independent action, customer service, communication skills, teamwork, and age-specific competencies. Physical & Environmental Requirements: Light physical work, frequent movement, and ability to handle equipment and patients up to specified weights. No significant exposure to adverse conditions.
