Document Management Assistant

Overview As a Document Management Assistant at Associated Electric Cooperative, you will support our document management and records retention processes across the organization. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and records management while contributing to organization‑wide work. What You’ll Do Partner with the Legal team to support document management and records retention processes. Maintain and organize digital content in SharePoint and other enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Assist with uploading, tagging, and managing documents using metadata and version control practices. Support records retention activities, including document review, imaging, and cleanup projects. Troubleshoot document discrepancies and recommend solutions to improve data quality and usability. Collaborate with teams across the business to improve content organization and standardization. What You’ll Need Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, information science, or related field; equivalent experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Basic experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint and Excel. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Associated Provides Robust 401(k) program with generous employer match.
