Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Missouri Special Education (MO SPED) certification
• Previous experience teaching Special Education, particularly in elementary/upper elementary (3rd–5th grade) preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and experience developing and implementing individualized plans
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with small groups and adapt instruction to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pull-out sessions for small groups of students in 3rd–5th grades, using targeted strategies to address academic and behavioral goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, making accommodations and modifications as needed
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
